How To Prep For Your Appointment

We are so excited to clean for you!

Just a few items to note before we come out to your home:

  • Please relocate all items around the home that you do not want to get wet (flags, planters, doormats, rugs, wreaths, kids toys, cushions, furniture, plants, etc.)
  • Please remove vehicles from the driveway
  • Make sure we have clear access to your hose bibs, we do supplement with your water source
  • Please double check all windows and doors are fully closed
  • If we are completing “Exterior Window Cleaning” services, please make sure all window screens are taken out.  We are not able to remove window screens for you.
  • If we are completing patio or deck cleaning, please remove all items off the area to be cleaned, we will not relocate any items, and are not responsible for damage of any items not moved.
  • Please make sure all exterior outlets are properly covered and turn off your breakers to these outlets.

WE DO BRING SOME WATER WITH US BUT SUPPLEMENT WITH YOUR WATER SOURCE.  IF YOU ARE ON A WELL OR HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THIS PLEASE LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AND WE CAN MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS.  WE DO CHARGE A FEE TO PROVIDE OUR OWN WATER.

Please note our soft washing and concrete cleaning process cleans organic matter – mold, mildew, algae, general dirt.  Staining from red clay, efflorescence, oil, grease, paint, may improve with our cleaning, but stain removal is a separate specialty service and is not included in our standard house wash or concrete cleaning services.

After services are completed your technician will do a walk around with you to make sure you are satisfied and address anything they discovered while cleaning.  An invoice will be emailed to you in case you would like to pay with a credit card different than what you provided us with (you can also add a tip for your technician on this :), checks are also welcome upon completion.  If unpaid your card will be charged the day following your appointment.

What‘s Up With the Tape?
The short answer is: we’re overly cautious!  We take the safety and care of your home seriously and this red (or blue) tape you find after we leave is just another sign of that commitment.
When we arrive at your home for your scheduled cleaning, we do a walk-around of the entire home before we even remove our hoses – this practice ensures all your windows and doors are properly closed, pets are safe inside, and all outlets are located.  Once the walk-around has been completed, we use that bright red (or blue) tape to ensure no water leaks through your outlet boxes and video doorbells.
We recommend leaving the tape on until your home has completely dried!

Be On The Look Out For Weep Holes!
What are weep holes?  They’re a passage for water to escape a building envelope.  Weep Holes serve an important purpose for your home: they allow the home to “breathe” as well as give water a way to exit from between your siding/bricks.  Occasionally dust and dirt get trapped between your siding panels and when we come to clean as the weep holes drain it takes that debris with it.  This usually happens as the house is drying so you won’t see any evidence until well after our team has left.  If you see evidence of weep hole leaking just give us a call and we’ll send a crew back out to re-rinse your home, or the next rain will take care of it!
